Welcome to the 1st Heybridge Scout Group website.

At 1st Heybridge Scout Group we have a thriving group consisting of Leaders and boys and girls of ages ranging between 6 and 18 in the Beaver, Cub and Scout Sections. Beavers for ages 6 to 8, Cubs from 8 to 10½, Scouts from 10½ to 14 and Young Leaders (Explorers) from 14 to 18. We welcome both Boys and Girls to all our sections.

• The Scouts had a busy time at this years Winter Camp.
• The Scouts enjoyed another great sleepover at the Nuclear Bunker.
• Christmas came late as 16 leaders and helpers enjoyed a Christmas Meal.
• Several leaders brushed up on their skills with their First Aid Training.
• With a fantastic effort 19 people turned out to help with Tree Planting at the Church ground.
• It was a good turnout from all sections on this years Remembrance Day Parade.
• The Scouts looked back at the Second World War with a Historical Night.
