Croatia International Trip - August 2018
Sunday
3.30am was meet time at Stansted. Flight 6.50am. Arrive at hostel and relaxing day in the sea. V hot.
Monday
Early start, 7am breakfast. Water park. A long day. Got shelter for bags etc. Wave machine, Aerobics, Bubble pools, Flumes, etc. V Hot.
Tuesday
Early start. Trip to Venice. Long day. Boat taxi to St Mark Square and return up Grand Canal to boat. Even hotter.
Wednesday
Early start, 7am breakfast. Fish picnic day. On boat called Stupica. Fresh caught fish. Plenty of food and liquids. Lots of jumping into sea off the boat. Good views (nudist beach was the biggest in Europe). V hot.
Thursday
Early start, 7am breakfast. Abseiling and caves. Also trip to historic Porec. V hot.
Friday
Late start, 8am breakfast. Marine biology day 1. Practice snorkelling and finding creatures in the shallows. PM walk to supermarket and wide game in the woods. Swimming and quiz in evening.
Saturday
Late start, 8am breakfast. Marine biology day 2. Boat trip to some caves and snorkelled in. PM scavenger hunt in rock pools. Last swim. Quiz on the beach. Storm came in. Heavy rain and lightening. 10 degrees hotter than England.
Sunday
Early start, breakfast at 7. 19 degrees. Flight at 10.20am Stansted 11.40. Cold and wet.
All back safely and weary.
