Canoe Camp - October 2018

7 youngsters braved the bitterly cold Saturday on the Chelmer and Blackwater Canal. The trip was cut short due to the persistent rain. Sunday however saw the tides turn and a wonderful day. The highlight of the weekend apparently was the magnetic fishing find of a huge mooring spike!!! The best bit for the leaders was all in bed by 7.30pm and not up again until 7am Sunday. Marvellous.
