MegaCamp - June 2015
On June 5th, 6th and 7th, over 2000 Cub Scouts gathered at Skreens Park Activity Centre for an exciting, adventurous and fun filled weekend for Mega Camp 2015. Cubs from every corner of Essex were blast off into a Space and were welcomed to their three Sub camps; Time Lords, Storm Troopers and Space Rangers. Ours being Space Rangers from Toy Story.
Saturday morning brought the start of the Space themed activities where the Cub Scouts were challenged to variety of activities which allowed them to experience new things both old and new. Some of the Cubs also visited area 51 and had to escape from an Alien!!
On Sunday morning our Sub camp took their turn to challenge themselves on It's a Knockout
As Mega Camp drew to a close we were treated to a surprise parachute display from The Princess of Wales, The Tigers, Parachute team. This was a spectacular finish to a wonderful weekend, full of fun and new friends.
All left having had a fantastic time and soon fell asleep in their cars on the way home.
