Homeless Camp - April 2011

We slept in a cardboard box for one night and it was good but very cold. We had fish and chips for dinner after the long scavenger hunt. I was the only person to find everything on the scavenger hunt list. We had to find an acorn, a maple leaf, an oak leaf, a candy wrapper, a feather, a nail, a piece of moss, a pine cone, a bottle top, a fruit pip, a piece of bark, a piece of broken glass, a bud from a tree, a wild flower, a thistle, a three leaf clover, a pink stone, a dock leaf, a piece of fabric, a y shaped twid and a berry. Some of us started to build a den but it never got finished. We all cooked marshmallows on the fire only if we got some questions right. So overall we all enjoyed the trip. Elijah
