Canoe and Camp - September 2010

This years event was enjoyed by 10 scouts and 10 leaders (on a rota) all of whom survived the weekend Saturday they headed Chelmsford way stopping for lunch at Paper Mill. Then time for a slow paddle back and a play on the weir. Sunday heading "downstream" stopping at Rickets Weir for more fun. Back to base for lunch (Hoe Mill). Then practice strokes and rescues while it rained solidly. All went, tired and exhausted.
