Cub Camp - July 2010

The weekend of 9th - 11th July, saw 42 Cubs from the Leopards and Tigers sections, enjoy their annual camp, at Hallowtrees Scout Camp site near Ipswich, Suffolk. The weather couldn't have been better for them. The Cubs had an enjoyable weekend filled with lots of different activities, including Archery, Assault course, Climbing and Abseiling, backwoods cooking, Aerial runway and for the first time this year, we bought 3 new Go Karts. after our roast dinner on Saturday evening the Cubs enjoyed a singsong round the camp fire, with some leaders going to new height and went star trekking!!! Sunday saw the Cubs packing their belongings and finding missing clothes, that had been mislaid in the tents followed by an hour at the beach. The afternoon saw them enjoying a mixture of crafts and outdoor games, before being picked up by their parents at 4pm. Most, I am told, were asleep before they reached the A14!!!
