Nuclear Bunker Sleepover - February 2007

This years sleepover at the Secret Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch proved very popular with over 40 Scouts, Explorers and Sixers and Seconders from both Cub Packs. The evening started with a tour of the bunker, then after a quick break for tea, the activities. Once again this was abseiling down the main stairwell but included archery in addition to air rifles in the main entrance tunnel.

When the activities finished they all settled down for a burger supper and to watch a film. We must have tired them out with the activities because we (the Leaders) managed to get some sleep this year!

It was up early in the morning (who suggested 6.00am on a Sunday morning?) for a wide game before breakfast before departing back into the daylight once more.
