Come To Tolmers Camp - August 2006

The 5th - 12th August saw 23 Scouts (almost twice the number taken to camp in the previous few years) and 4 Leaders enjoying an activity packed week at Come To Tolmers Camp at Cuffley, Hertfordshire.

There were over thirty activities on offer each day, ranging from Aeroball & Archery to Vertical Wall and Water Wars. Choosing up to four of the varied activities on offer per day (including the popular Journalism where they could see their stories in print) ensured that they couldn't complain they were bored! Although the same couldn't be said for some of the conversations, yes you know who you are! The Wednesday saw them all out for the day on the Incident Hike and despite a 'hare raising' experience (or was it a rabbit?) we didn't lose any of them.

By the end of the week they all knew the actions to 'Round the Old Camp Fire' and had met new friends.
