Peak District Trip, Gradbach - October 2006

Through a parent we organised a weekend in Derbyshire walking and climbing. Leaving the school at 6.00pm in the pouring rain we travelled 200 odd miles and arrived at the "barn" around 11pm. Little sleep saw us the next morning ready for the vigours of the days activities. Walking over the peaks was super. The weather held. Midway, Peter had set up some rock climbing for all. Then a brisk walk back for "climbers stew". Next day, pack away and clear up. A short walk along a Dovedale, and then,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,a stroll up out of the valley!!!!! Into uniform and away home. Put it into your diary. Its booked for next year.
