Scouts County CycloCross Championship - February 2006

2 Scouts took part in the County CycloCross on Sunday 19th March at Skreens Park, Freddie and Dominic. There were about 60 Scouts in their age range in 3 heats. Dominic went in the first heat and came 2nd out of 20 and Freddie went in the second heat and came 3rd out of 20. They were both very tired but having got through their heats they (and us parents) had to stay until the final in the afternoon. They both got off to a good start but I think they had worn themselves out in the heats Freddie came in 7th followed by Dominic in 10th (beaten by a girl who came in first way in front). They have both decided they want to compete again next year so it can't have been too bad.
