Welcome to the 1st Heybridge Scout Group website.

At 1st Heybridge Scout Group we have a very thriving group consisting of about 120 boys and girls of ages ranging between 6 and 18 in very active Beaver, Cub and Scout Sections. Beavers for ages 6 to 8, Cubs from 8 to 10½, Scouts from 10½ to 14 and Young Leaders (Explorers) from 14 to 18. We welcome both Boys and Girls to all our sections.

• The Heybridge Beavers join with Silver End Beavers in an Easter Egg Hunt at Prances Camp Site.
• As part of their Science Badge the Cubs visit the Science Museum.
• Both Cub packs take part in their annual Top Six Competition.
• The Scouts, older Cubs and a few of the Explorers enjoyed another Nuclear Bunker Sleepover.
• The Coypus Beavers enjoy an evening trying their hand at baking.
• After a lot of hard work by some of the Leaders and parents, all the Group equipment has finally been moved to the new container storage at Prances.
• The Explorers and four of the older Scouts started the new year getting muddy at Winter Camp 2008.
